Rankins' is owned and run by Hugh and Lee Rankin, now in its 24th year 
It is a small popular restaurant frequented by locals, British visitors and Continentals alike.

The menu develops seasonally, using locally sourced prime raw materials 
 Fish from Rye and Hastings,
 Lamb from Frittenden and Romney Marsh.
Beef and other fish come directly from Scotland.

 Situated  in the centre of the historic village of Sissinghurst, 
itself well known for the famous National Trust’s Sissinghurst Castle Gardens 
The nearby town, Cranbrook, is the capital of the Weald of Kent and the heart of the Garden of England. 
The warm Kent tile buildings with white weather-boarding snuggle into areas of outstanding natural beauty.
 The Weald is famous for oast houses, Norman Churches, hop gardens and blossom routes.
