A typical Kent weather-boarded building, Rankins' is owned and run by Hugh and Lee Rankin.
It is a small popular restaurant frequented by locals, British visitors and Continentals alike.
The Restaurant is situated in the centre of the historic village of
Sissinghurst itself known worldwide for the famous Castle Gardens.

The menu develops seasonally, using locally sourced prime raw materials - fish from Rye
and Hastings, Lamb from Frittenden and Romney Marsh.
The beef and other fish come directly from Scotland.

The cooking style is an eclectic, modern, and old fashioned/traditional
mix akin to the modern Parisian bistros.
